2008 Tournament Season on the “Tammy Rose”
Oak Bluff Monster Shark Tournament- 4 people $8000.00 -Thursday July 17th to Sunday July 20th - includes 2 rooms three nights lodging in Vineyard Haven at the “1720 House”, entrance fees and tickets to all events, boat, bait, fuel, and dockage at the Black Dog Wharf. This is one of the best big-game shark tournaments on the East Coast. Lots of prizes and big money Calcutta’s to be won. It is also one of the best tournaments for festivities and fun both on the water and at the dock. We would travel to the Vineyard on Thursday and attend the Captains Meeting, fish Friday and Saturday and attend the awards banquet Saturday night. We would return on Sunday. Does not include tips for the crew or Calcutta entries.
Nantucket Bluefin Blast- 4 people $5500.00
-Friday Sept.5th to Sunday Sept. 7th – includes entrance fees and tickets to all events, boat, bait, fuel, and dockage in Nantucket. This is a brand new tournament hosted on Nantucket by “Slip 14 Restaurant.” This is a trolling only tournament for bluefin tuna, no live bait or chunking. Heaviest bluefin for the two days wins. We would travel to Nantucket on Friday Sept.5th and fish Saturday and Sunday. You could either leave on the Ferry that night or return with us Monday morning. Fees do not include lodging, which you will need, or tips for the crew, or Calcutta entries.
Hyannis Anglers Bluefin Tuna Tournament- 4 people $7000.00 UPDATE PRICE & CHANGE of DATE -Thursday Oct. 2nd to Saturday Oct.4th – includes entrance fees and tickets to all events, boat, fuel, bait, and dockage at Hyannis Marina. This is a great big-game tournament. Compete against some of the best boats and crews in the north east chasing the mighty bluefin tuna. Big money event with big cash prizes. Meet in Hyannis on Thursday night for the Captains meeting, and fish Friday and Saturday. Awards and lobster/steak dinner will be on Saturday night. Fees do not include lodging, tips for the crew or Calcutta entries. Capt. Eric took a second place in this tournament in 2002. The “Tammy Rose” fought two giants last year in this event and landed over 12 bluefin tuna for the event.
Boat policy on tournament winnings. -The boat crew will take 20% of any tournament prizes\awards. Calcutta’s [side bets] are excluded from this unless the crew buys in with the charter.
Deposits Required- All tournament bookings will require a 30% deposit which will be non-refundable unless the tournament is cancelled by the organizers.
