Captain Eric Stewart's BFT Signature Series Rod, 50-130 lb class. This rod was designed by Captain Eric Stewart for use on the "Tammy Rose". Built around a "SEEKER" blank and featuring AFTCO Wind On Roller Guides and a straight or curved "Stand-Up" Butt. This rod was field tested by Capt. Eric in the 2007 season and is a PROVEN performer. Compare it to rods costing hundreds more. Match it with a PENN 50 vsw, 70 vs or a Tiagra 50 reel and you are ready to tame big fish. Eric calls it his signature Series BFT Rod but I call it "The Black Beauty" This rod proved itself in an epic five hour battle with a 775 lb Bluefin. Four of the five hours the fish was fought "Stand Up" style. The reel was a Penn 70!
