The KEY WEST SPECIAL - In three different sizes. This color combination was the brain child of Capt. Corey, before he was a captain. When I built my first rainbow splash bar I asked Corey what color stinger would he recommend. He said, without hesitation, Green/Brown. I thought it was an odd combination but Corey had caught far more tuna than I, so I built it and caught a BFT the first time it went into the water. The lure was the hottest lure of the 2008 season and Capt. Eric started to call it the KEY WEST SPECIAL. It is now a staple out east. ALL KEY WEST SPECIALS FEATURE A RAINBOW SPLASH BAR WITH RAINBOW SQUID AND A GREEN/BROWN STINGER. Fish it!
