So the Hook-Up! built this rod to RIPTIDE CHARTER'S Terry Nugent's specifications and made sure it has the moxie to handle the big ones. Matched with the Shimano Stella 20000 or 18000 this is a "Top of the Line" spinning rod, featuring a Calstar Graphiter Blank and nine Silicon Carbide Guides and a ribbed foregrip The reel is loaded with 450 yds of 80 lb test braid. It has already proven itself. The 18000 is a faster retrieve version of the 20000, either way you win!
