Guys, here is the deal. I
have the “Tammy Rose” signed up for the Oak Bluffs Monster Shark Tourney,
which runs from Thursday July 22nd through Sunday July 25th,
and I have a slip in Oak Bluffs. I also have two hotel rooms with double
beds secured in OB for Thursday-Sunday morning. I have put together a total
package for the tournament. This is one of the best events to fish and tons
of fun. The itinerary goes like this: arrive on Martha’s Vineyard on the 22nd,
capts meeting that night, fish Friday and Saturday with awards on Saturday
night, return to mainland on Sunday. The total package, which includes all
entrance fees, boat, dockage, bait, ice, fuel, and hotels, would be $8800
for a maximum of 4 anglers. This breaks down to $2200 per person divided by
4 days which equals $550 per day. It’s like a mini 4 day fishing vacation.
Come on, you got to go for it once in a while!!!! This does not include
tips, food & drink, or calcuttas. I have several groups mulling this around
but no-one has put down a deposit yet so if you are interested please give
me a call. If you have never done this tournament it really is a blast and
the party atmosphere at OB for this weekend is off the hook. The shark
fishing that time of the year is always great and the rods will be bent for
both days for sure. I have spoken to Steve James and he has secured a
different venue to hold all of the functions at for this year, with a/c, so
this year’s event will be a winner. OB sells out every season for this event
and I have to pay for the Hotels up front so I need to nail this down ASAP.
I can’t wait very long on this so if you are interested or if you have any
questions please call me at the shop at 508-240-0778. I would need a deposit
of $2000 to secure this event. Thanks and don’t forget about the Open House
next weekend on the 17th and 18th. The tent sale will
be loaded with huge deals and the food and drink will be happening on
Saturday. I hope to see you all there. Capt. Eric
